Hi! My name is Bree Moderow, I am the owner of Breezy Retrievers. We are a small hobby breeder located in Central Wisconsin striving to preserve the dual purpose Labrador. Our goal is to produce dogs that are moderate in looks but still possess great working ability like the breed standard describes.

My love of the Labrador started long ago. My whole life I have had a yellow dog and I don't think I will ever be without one! I grew up hunting pheasants, ducks and geese with my two childhood labradors Jake and Chase. It wasn't until 2018 when I really got into the breed and dog sports with Diesel. I am a recent graduate of the University Of Wisconsin- River Falls, receiving my bachelor's degree in Animal Science. I am a currently pursuing my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at St. George's University and am excited to embark on my career as a veterinarian upon graduation in 2027. Even while in school I am still very committed to having my dogs shown and entered in competitive venues!

Our dogs participate in many venues such as hunt tests, conformation, dock diving, rally, therapy work, and so much more!

Our Program
Here at Breezy Retrievers our number one priority is our dogs. All puppies are whelped and raised in our home with extensive socialization protocols. This helps ensure that puppies are well rounded and ready to take on the world with their new families! We strive to produce the soundest puppies both mentally and physically, this starts with health testing all of our breeding dogs which screens them for dysplasia, optic diseases, and genetics.
Breezy Retrievers breeds true to the standard with only three accepted colors. (Black, Yellow, & Chocolate)
